To eavesdrop in Assassin's Creed Mirage, you will need to find a conversation that can be listened in on first. These are typically only found in missions, and are denoted by an orange sound wave icon above two speaking characters; they'll also glow orange in eagle vision.

Once you have found a conversation that can be eavesdropped on, you'll need to locate a nearby hiding spot. These can be bales of hay, benches, or crowds of four or more NPCs - you just need to ensure you're hidden in sight.

After locating a spot, you can eavesdrop on Assassin's Creed Mirage, by pressing the right thumbstick in on the controller, and the middle mouse button on the mouse and keyboard.

This will cause the camera to zoom in and you to listen in on the full conversation and typically furthers an objective in the mission you are playing.

Guards will also begin moving around and resume their patrol patterns once you have listened in on their conversation, so be ready to move on quickly.

That's all for our breakdown of how to eavesdrop in Assassin's Creed Mirage, and now you know the system works in the game.
