The Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event is chock full of activities to do, places to explore, and cosmetics to collect. The return of a fan-favourite limited-time mode, a new Town Takeover, and an elaborate Heirloom highlight this special Apex Legends event. Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event Release Date

Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that the Awakening Collection Event will finally be touching down on June 21. It'll run for a couple of weeks, and it'll finally come to a close on July 5, so make sure you're making the most of the collectathon while it's around.

Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event: Return Of Control

The fan-favourite Control mode is back for a limited time with the Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event. This time around, Lave Siphon from World's Edge will serve as the battleground for the nine vs. nine game mode.

 

Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event: Lifeline Town Takeover

A Town Takeover is when a section of an Apex Legends map gets remodelled after a legend. Octane, Wraith, Mirage, Bloodhound, Crypto, Pathfinder, Caustic, and Rampart have all been treated to a Town Takeover at one point or another.

The Awakening Collection Event will introduce a brand-new Town Takeover designed around Apex Legends Lifeline. Lifeline's Town Takeover is on Olympus, near the edge of the map in the area east of Gardens and north-east of Grow Towers. The Lifeline Town Takeover point of interest consists of a multi-story medical facility surrounded by a beautiful plaza.

Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event: Kaiju-Themed Cosmetics


What's a Collection Event without themed cosmetics? The Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event comes with a selection of 24 original, event-limited cosmetic items that players can purchase outright with Apex Coins, unlock through Awakening Event Packs, or craft with Crafting Metals. All of the Awakening cosmetics follow a Kaiju theme.

Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event: Valkyrie Heirloom


The Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event introduces an Heirloom for the Winged Avenger, Valkyrie. The Apex Legends Valkyrie Heirloom resembles a spear and features a variety of interesting and unique animations.

Players that unlock all 24 Collection Items will receive the Valkyrie Heirloom as a bonus.

Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event: Free Prize Track

Those not interested in shelling out Apex Coins on Event Packs will have the opportunity to earn free rewards through the Awakening Collection Event prize track. There are 14 cosmetics available to earn via the free prize track, including Legendary Skins for the Havok and Bocek Bow. Earn points and complete challenges to progress through the prize track and earn all of the free rewards.
