Where are the lunchboxes in Cauldron Lake?
As you can see from the map above, there are 8 lunchboxes for you to pick up in the Cauldron Lake area of Alan Wake 2 and can be found in the following locations:
- Near the information sign for the waterfall
- Over the bridge near the Witch’s Hut
- At the blocked-off area along the main central road
- At the campsite at the bottom of the map
- Behind the FBC station on a ledge
- Behind the Witchfinder’s Station
- Along the stream toward the waterfall
- In the rental cabins
While you can get most of these lunchboxes during your first visit, you won’t be able to get the ones at the Witchfinder’s Station and the river’s edge until your second visit.
Additionally, you won’t be able to get the lunchbox in the rental cabin until you have acquired the bolt cutters further down the line.
You'll be able to spot lunchboxes a little easier by looking out for the colorful rocks that surround them on the ground, and decorations hanging from trees nearby.
What do lunchboxes do in Alan Wake 2?
In Alan Wake 2, lunchboxes are collectables that can be found in an assortment of locations around the maps. Inside, they contain Manuscript Pieces that can be used to upgrade your weapons in the Mind Place.
Each lunchbox contains a different amount of pieces, so you’re going to have to find a lot of them if you’re going to max out any of your weapons.
