There are Nursery Rhyme puzzles scattered throughout the world of Alan Wake 2, so we’re here to help you find and solve each of them in Cauldron Lake, Bright Falls, and Watery, as they're essential in the game if you’re going to collect the Shift in Reality achievement - one of several trophies in Alan Wake 2.
Cauldron Lake Nursery Rhymes
There are five Nursery Rhyme puzzles in the Cauldron Lake area of Alan Wake 2 shown on the map above. Below, we’ve broken down the first line of the rhyme so you know you’re in the right place, the solutions and the reward for completing it.
To access the Rental Cabin, as we've said, you will need the Bolt Cutters. The puzzle at the Witchfinder’s Station is the last Nursery Rhyme you complete after finding all the others in the game.

There are eight Nursery Rhyme puzzles in the town of Watery. For some of these, you will need to progress through the story and wait for the water to recede to allow you access to different parts of the maps - like Latte Lagoon.

Bright Falls Nursery Rhymes
There are only four Nursery Rhyme puzzles in Bright Falls, but they will require you to progress to Saga’s sections where you can access the Valhalla Nursing Home, Billie’s Boatyard and Bunker Woods.

The Nursery Rhymes are puzzles that you can complete for rewards in the form of useful Charms that will help you throughout your adventure.
To complete them, you need to place dolls that are found near some of the puzzles on the correct drawings, as shown in the image below:

It's important to note that you won’t be able to reach all the Nursery Rhymes straight away. Some will require Bolt Cutters to get access to certain areas, while others will have to wait until water levels have receded.
