Warzone fans have slammed the "lazy" Season 3 Reloaded update for completely ignoring Urzikstan and only focusing on Resurgence.

All the details on Warzone's upcoming Season 3 Reloaded patch have dropped, and the reception so far has been mixed at best.
While a new Specialist Perk, the BAL-27 Assault Rifle, and multiple fresh Aftermarket Parts are guaranteed to spice up the gameplay, there's one aspect of the update that's frustrated BR competitors.
It's related to the fact that Urzikstan will once again receive zero meaningful changes or additions, leading to speculation from players that the devs have given up on the big map. In their opinion, all the focus is being dedicated towards Rebirth instead of the "core" gameplay Warzone was built on.
Warzone fans disappointed "dull" Urzikstan remains unchanged in Season 3 Reloaded
Taking to the CoDWarzone subreddit, user TheEscortGamer decided to voice their frustration that "nothing" has been added to Urzikstan in such a long time and it's making the classic BR gameplay extremely "dull."
For them, Activision may as well rename the game to "Warzone Resurgence" at this point, as from their perspective, it's the only portion of the game that's receiving any fresh content. This isn't an isolated opinion, with countless users angry that the "core" BR is being forgotten for what should be a side mode.
"Literally still just the same dull map, Resurgence is all they care about given they’ve basically turned BR into Resurgence anyway," said one user, with another claiming, "As someone that loves big map and is lukewarm on resurgence, this is so disappointing...
"I didn’t expect anything in reloaded for the big map, but overall they haven’t done s**t." Even Rebirth is being upgraded with variable weather conditions to keep it interesting in Season 3 Reloaded, feeling like something that could have easily been added to Urzikstan as well.
CoD players convinced devs have given up on Urzikstan ahead of Verdansk release
With the leaks Verdansk is going to make a comeback soon, Warzone players have theorised that the devs have completely abandoned Urzikstan and are just waiting for the OG location to release.
"I'm convinced that they just gave up on the big map until Verdansk," said one user, with another arguing, "Big map/BR is done, they'll release Verdansk later this year and that's it... this is a resurgence/mobile game now, I'd love to be wrong though."
With deaths in Warzone being less punishing than ever, and the developers clearly jumping on the Resurgence hype train, some of the community believes the game is slipping further and further away from what made it so special back in the day.
Either way, Season 3 Reloaded is just another update to ignore Urzikstan, so big map fans will have to wait even longer for any fresh content.
