If you're already growing tired and Urzikstan is getting wearisome, you're not alone in those thoughts. In fact, players are beginning to turn on the new Warzone map, as it fails to live up to Verdansk and even Al Mazrah.
But not all hope is lost for you if you thought that Urzikstan was the be-all and end-all for Warzone in 2024, as Resurgence maps Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep are both set to make a comeback.
But having originally claimed that Rebirth Island might be coming late in 2024, a new teaser might be suggesting otherwise...
Raven Software offers up a first glimpse of Rebirth Island 2.0
Call of Duty announced that Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep will be coming back to Warzone this year, making it the "most diverse map rotation" yet in the battle royale. But, Fortnute's Keep was to come first, followed by Rebirth later.
A new teaser has now shown us a first glimpse at Rebirth Island 2.0, though, hinting that it may be more ready than we first imagined.
Hot off the back of some scathing criticism, Raven Software has shed hope for the future and revealed Specialist Perk Packages will be coming to Warzone in the future. It teased this by placing the briefcase on top of the sniper tower in Rebirth Island.
Fans instantly made the connection, as you can see the spears from the factory sticking up, too.
What is changing to Rebirth Island?
Rebirth Island's return to Warzone is highly anticipated, especially given that players enjoy the fast-fire Resurgence gameplay and the Alcatraz-like map was once adored by fans.
But it might not necessarily be a complete reskin of what we had two years ago. Instead, you might see some minor tweaks that go hand in hand with what Raven brought to Urzikstan, such as ziplines from building to building.
For the most part, Rebirth Island's return will likely be quite close to what we had before. Either way, its arrival appears imminent and we can't wait to put the map back in our crosshairs.
