David Harbour has been on the acting scene since 1999, but recent years have seen him explode into pop culture since beginning his time as Jim Hopper on Stranger Things in 2016.

Still a fan favourite on the Netflix show, Harbour's elevated fame has landed him roles in other big projects like Black Widow, the lead role in new Christmas movie called Violent Night, and the upcoming movie adaptation of racing game series, Gran Turismo

However, this New York-born star isn't done with video games just yet. When sitting down with Video Games FanNation whilst doing promotion for Blizzard's World of Warcraft Dragonflight expansion, Harbour was asked if he would ever want to star in an actual video game.

It turns out, he's more than interested because it's already in the works. David Harbour revealed that he will actually be starring in an upcoming horror game.

What Horror Game Is David Harbour Starring In?

As of right now, the upcoming horror game David Harbour is starring in is unknown. Besides the fact that he thinks it's coming out in 2023, there currently isn't much other information available.

On the other hand, what we do know is he will starring in the mystery title alongside Jodie Comer. Although she has not been active for as long as Harbour, Jodie Comer is a critically acclaimed actor in her own right.

After receiving worldwide recognition as the face of BBC spy thriller series, Killing Eve, Comer's performance as the psychopathic assassin, Villanelle, earned her numerous nominations and awards. Those include winning both a BAFTA and a Primetime Emmy in 2019.

Comer is no stranger to video games either, both as a player and in entertainment. Speaking to AsiaOne last year, Comer said that whilst preparing for her role in 2021's video game comedy movie, Free Guy - alongside Ryan Reynolds, she tried a few games like Spider-Man and Grand Theft Auto, the latter of which she took "way too seriously".

So, while we don't know much about the upcoming horror game itself, it is at least a certainty this mystery title has the acting talent with a familiarity with gaming as a whole to back it up. It's uncertain we'll get details so soon, but as David Harbour might say, stranger things have happened.
