If you've been chomping at the bit for more Slay the Spire, then you're in luck, as Mega Crit has revealed that Slay the Spire 2 is finally on the way, and it's making its way to Steam Early Access in 2025.
Slay the Spire is a now legendary title that helped usher in a new era of deck-building roguelikes, and a sequel has been hotly anticipated ever since - it comes with a shiny new trailer, too.
Slay the day away
Revealed as part of the Triple-i Initiative Showcase, Slay the Spire 2 was one of the highlight indies to be revealed during its 45-minute runtime.
With an animated trailer accompanying the announcement, Mega Crit has stated on X (formerly Twitter) that there will be more info to come this year.
When to expect Slay the Spire 2
Ardent fans and newcomers alike will be able to get their hands on the Steam Early Access version of the game in 2025. While there's no set release date as of yet, that should be enough for now to whet our appetites.
So, now that you've got a window, it's time to grab your copy of the first game and get practising so you can be ready for the Spire to open its doors once again.
