Leakers suggest that a new Rocket Racing ‘Death Mode’ is on the way

Leakers have suggested that a new Rocket Racing mode is on its way.

BeastFNCreative, a popular leaker who frequently datamines Fortnite, has shared a post indicating that a Death Mode could be coming soon.

They said: “Psyonix is working on a mode called Death Race.

“This mode has the objective to make the track harder to complete by placing objects like spikes, allowing other players to be kicked into walls by others and several other deadly obstacles.”

Naturally, fans are excited about the leak with one Redditor stating that they “hope the death race sub genre is making a comeback in 2024.”

This isn't the first time the Death Race mode has been mentioned, as another leaker shared that it was in the works all the way back in September.

At the time a lot less was known about what it could involve, with some users speculating that it could eliminate players who are in the lowest positions as the race goes on.

Maps related to the leak have also surfaced online

Though the Death Race mode doesn’t appear to have been confirmed at this stage, the latest leak does line up with a new map which was discovered in the game.

Another Twitter account, SpushFNBR shared the video and said: “First look at a new racing mode map coming soon!”

The footage shows a brand new map featuring obstacles and spiked walls, seemingly confirming BeastFNCreative’s leak.
