One of the biggest criticisms from Call of Duty players towards Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is the removal of custom reticles.
This fan-favourite feature allowed you to create the perfect optic and added an extra level of depth to loadouts in MW2019 and WZ1.
Now, only a select few optics are used in MW2 & WZ2, as the majority of the holographic scopes have poor reticles that make it impossible to track enemy movement.
Well, MW2 expert TrueGameData has identified a 'pay-to-win' holo optic that offers one of the cleanest reticles in the game, but it is locked behind a store blueprint.
WZ2 expert finds 'pay-to-win' holo optic with clean blue dot
During the video, TrueGameData explains that the majority of Holo sights are not viable in WZ2 & MW2 because they all have "obstructive reticles that bounce all over the place."
As a result, the majority of players gravitate towards the "1x red dots," as they are the easiest to control by far, especially at mid-range. Luckily, TrueGameData has found a solution with the Good Ol' Day's store blueprint that offers a clean blue dot reticle skin for Holo sights that can be equipped in Gunsmith.
Although the preview shows that the gun has the standard reticle, once you have it equipped in-game, you'll have the clean blue dot.
How to get clean blue dot Holo optic in MW2 & WZ2
In order to unlock the 'pay-to-win' blue dot reticle, you'll need to purchase The Throwback Audio Pack from the store, which costs 1800 CoD points.
This bundle comes with the Good Ol' Day's ISO Hemlock blueprint, also including the top-tier reticle for you to use.
While this won't provide a major advantage, having a clean scope can help you land more shots and lock onto your targets, it's just a shame it's locked behind a store blueprint. Well, we never said it would be easy.
