The cards were all in OpTic Texas' court after announcing that they have released MVP Brandon "Dashy" Otell and in-game leader Indervir "iLLeY" Dhaliwal from their roster.

Their hand of cards appeared to contain the faces of Paco "HyDra" Rusiewiez, Cameron "Cammy" McKilligan, and Dillon "Attach" Price, with a pick-up-two card having been slammed in their direction.

However, OpTic has slapped down a reverse card, and, either in the biggest troll that rostermania has ever seen or one of the quickest turn of events, both Dashy and iLLeY have returned to the roster.

OpTic Re-Sign iLLeY And Dashy

Just 24 hours after announcing that Dashy was a restricted free agent and that iLLeY was completely free to go to another team with no barriers, OpTic announced that their original roster will stick together.

"Back for '22-23," said OpTic on Twitter, confirming that Dashy. iLLeY Seth "Scump" Abner and Anthony "Shotzzy" Cuevas-Castro will be their Modern Warfare 2 team.

Dashy took to a stream to claim that the whole situation wasn't a ploy, although he wouldn't speak on the details to why there was such mayhem over the two-day period.

What Does This Mean For Cammy, Attach, HyDra, and Arcitys?

A mere two hours before OpTic's announcement, a new move was on the cards, as Atlanta FaZe's possible outcast Alec "Arcitys" Sanderson tweeted that he might be a restricted free agent, therefore opening up a straight-up switch between FaZe and OpTic for the two AR mains.

However, it now appears that none of the four targets will be joining the Green Wall, and Arcitys will stay at FaZe. HyDra is now also expected to sign the dotted line on his colossal $1.5million three-year contract with New York Subliners.

For Cammy and Attach, the two free agents have the pick of the rest. Attach could yet explore a return to Minnesota ROKKR too after their COO Brett Diamond reiterated that they are interested in bringing the quintessential professional back to Minnesota.
