Tyler "Ninja" Blevins was once one of the most talented FPS players in the world when he was a flagship icon in Fortnite and H1Z1, but one title that he's never been able to master is Call of Duty.

Having tried his hand at Warzone, Ninja much preferred to stick with Fortnite, and now he's taken aim at the CoD community as they begin to prepare for the next instalment of the franchise.

In fact, the famed streamer has now branded the entire Call of Duty fandom as "mentally abused" as they search for solace in the Modern Warfare 3 era.

Ninja takes aim at Call of Duty players for enjoying a new title

Well, this is a take...There's much to be said about the Call of Duty cycle and the annual hype-disappointment-growing contention-hype circle of life that we endure.

But Ninja has now led a full-blown assault on the CoD community for buying into this regime, and labelled them "disgusting."

"The new COD is going to be riddled with glitches and cheaters when it launches and it’ll take them months to fix one issue. But guess what? The gunplay is going to be good and people are going to be jizzing over the mobility," Ninja said on-stream

"You disgusting, mentally abused players are going to fall for it, and you’re going to keep playing it and keep playing it," he added

Ninja doubles-down on Call of Duty controversy despite backlash

As you can imagine, these harsh words were not well received by Call of Duty fans, who claimed, "That man will do anything these days to stay relevant," and that "he's washed".

But Ninja doubled down on the take, saying everything he ranted about was true, before having a half-hearted attempt at a rebuttal.

"0 lies were detected," he added on social media. "I also wanna be clear that I don’t WANT the game to fail. I would love nothing more than for streamers and gamers to thrive playing it."

Despite the over-jubilant language though, Ninja did hit home some hard truths about the cycle, although nothing will ever change...
