Assault Rifles aren't making a huge splash on the Warzone 2 meta in Season 5, with the Cronen Squall Battle Rifle being the dominant mid to long-range pick.
With an astounding 16.4% pick rate, there's no denying the Cronen's overwhelming power. Still, other options are definitely worth considering.
One of which is a classic AR that's recently received a new "secret" attachment that very few members of the community are utilising. For Warzone 2 expert Metaphor, this addition has made the underrated AR "amazing" and one of the best sniper supports in the game.

The new "secret" attachment boosts the AR's damage range, hip-fire accuracy, and bullet velocity, making it an absolute powerhouse in mid-range skirmishes.
