Modern Warfare 3 has been knocking it out of the park with its consistent updates, putting five years of live-service Call of Duty games to shame with how much content is being produced update after update.

But Season 3 Reloaded has not been met with the same promise as updates gone by.

Not because of its content though, but rather for "ruining the game" amid glitches, exploits, and bugs.

MW3 Season 3 Reloaded plagued with QoL issues

Just a day after MW3 Season 3 Reloaded went live, players have taken to Reddit to comment on how poor the quality of life features in the game have become.

"No reload sounds, lethal animations broken, constantly lagging, can’t cancel a reload… Also, why does it feel like I’m moving extremely slowly? Feels like MW2 movement," a Redditor said on the popular post.

Other players have noted pools of water and fire randomly flying around the map, while animations for grenades, guns, and sliding all appear to be bugging.

"This is still the only video game I’ve ever owned that gets worse after updates. I don’t get why my game runs fine but constant graphic and shader updates and the game runs worse and worse every time," a second fan added.

The issues have also slipped into Warzone too, and Zombies has literally been killed off, not expected to be reanimated.

"MW Zombies doesn't even want to start up for a bunch of us. [It] keeps timing out trying to get my inventory. Nobody is testing these updates," said a third player.

The thread has 290 comments from players all facing similar struggles, many of which are vastly different, highlighting just how broken the update is.

Sledgehammer's latest update hasn't lived up to its usual standards, and it might need a softer touch to tap home some fixes, rather than swinging a mallet at it.
