Those who have played the Modern Warafre 3 Beta will have already enjoyed a few of the remastered 2009 maps, with Estate, Rust, Favela, and Skidrow having been shared early.

More classic remasters are on the way too, with Highrise joining the Beta this weekend, and the other 11 old-school maps from MW2 all coming when the game launches on November 10.

But that's not where the remasters will stop, as leakers have now claimed that another franchise classic map is coming back: Shipment.

Leakers suggest Shipment is coming to Modern Warfare 3

Shipment has become an absolute staple of Call of Duty in the last five years, since its remaster landed in Modern Warfare 2019, and every single game since.

Now, its annual appearance is set to continue, as one leaker has claimed Sledgehammer Games is planning on releasing it into Modern Warfare 3.

The leak doesn't claim whether it will be the standard edition of Shipment that we've seen more often than not, just with an updated ambience, or whether Sledgehammer wants to re-jig the layout, akin to how they treated the map in Vanguard.

This would be Shipment's seventh multiplayer entrance, with a few more in the campaign and Warzone cameos, but it still remains a fan favourite for levelling-up weapons and grinding the camo challenges.

More and more recycled content is coming to Modern Warfare 3

Shipment's addition is just one of many planned remasters, according to leakers.

Previously, leakers hinted at the arrival of Countdown from Call of Duty 4 as it was found to be within the new Urzikstan-based Warzone map alongside a potential Ground War map, meaning its 6v6 cut-up could easily be slipped in.

Shipment was also a CoD: 4 map, which could go hand-in-hand with the rumoured 'throwback seasons', which is also set to include Advanced Warfare.

It might be rather befitting to see Shipment in a reskin of its first arrival in the series, with a green and overgrown look to it. But no matter how it looks, those XP farmers out there are soon to be overjoyed.
