A McDonald's employee has been arrested after police discovered 200 packs of McDonald's Pokemon cards in his car.

A report (as sourced by Dexerto) states that 32-year-old Troy Partin was arrested after he reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign. He was pulled over by police, who discovered that he also didn't have a license on his person. Police decided to search the car, then found a box containing 200 packages of Pokemon cards.

Apparently, Partin claimed he bought the cards and was selling them to a friend. However, once police discovered that he was an employee at the fast food chain, they decided to contact the McDonald's he worked for. After speaking to the fast food giant, authorities confirmed the cards were actually stolen property.

Partin was arrested and charged with theft and trafficking of stolen property. He was also let go from his position at McDonald's. Partin was reportedly already on probation for drug-related charges at the time of his arrest.

  • Smeargle
  • Rowlet
  • Victini
  • Gossifuer
  • Growlithe

The above are worth around $3-$6 currently, with the shiny Pikachu being worth up to $10. McDonald's will be running the collaboration until September 6, so you don't have long to find them all.
