After weeks of speculation, Sony has finally confirmed it'll air a State of Play broadcast on Thursday, May 30 - yes, that's today.
PlayStation fans have been speculating for weeks when an event will happen, but we finally have a date - and an idea of what will be featured. Here's how you can watch it.
How to watch the State of Play
As shared on X (formerly Twitter), "State of Play returns with a 30+ minute broadcast this Thursday at 3pm PT / 11pm BST".
"Tune in live for updates on 14 PS5 and PS VR2 titles, including a look at PlayStation Studios titles arriving later this year."
A post on the PlayStation Blog provides little extra, other than to explain the event will be shown on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.
You can tune in below if that's easier:
What to expect from State of Play
Recent reports have suggested that a new Astro Bot title could be in development and be revealed at the event, but that it would be focused on PS5 and not PSVR2.
Earlier this week, a new VR adapter for PlayStation VR 2, likely to help it run on PC, was also spotted.
Last year, Sony dropped a PlayStation showcase in May, but it's sticking with the State of Play branding this time - although more than 30 minutes will still be plenty for PlayStation games who have been waiting in earnest since January.
That event gave us Death Stranding 2: On The Beach footage, as well as a look at Rise of the Ronin and Stellar Blade, and an Until Dawn remake. This was swiftly followed up by a Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth State of Play just six days later.
