Grinding The FINALS sent its top-rated player to sleep

One streamer has been holding the top spot of THE FINALS' leaderboard - but it's clearly taken a toll on him, as he recently conked out on stream.

The arrival of THE FINALS has been a treat for many.

Not only could we do with more competitors on the shooter market (we’re looking at you, Call of Duty - we can’t let you be uncontested for much longer), but as real sweaty games like VALORANT and Apex Legends maintain incredible player numbers, we need a little more to sweeten the pot when it comes to runners and gunners.

Players are grinding hard on the game, making attempts to hone their craft in hopes of becoming the first real professional players. But that grind has clearly taken its toll on one player.

Top-ranked THE FINALS player fell asleep live on stream

It looks like those gunning to be the very best in THE FINALS could do with checking in with themselves first, as the number one ranked player of the game just got caught dozing off mid-stream.

Kyle ‘KJewls’ Julian made it to the very top of THE FINALS’ leaderboards last month, and has maintained his title since - but heavy is the head that wears the crown, as the player conked out live on stream. The video was shared to Twitter by Jake Lucky, showing Julian asleep in his chair as the game sits on a “connection failed” screen, as his friends in his lobby try to wake him up.

Wake up, bro,” says one of his friends. “End your f**king stream and go to your bed, bro.

There’s nothing wrong with Julian having a snooze on camera, as many streamers have done it before - but it’s indicative of the fact that KJewls might be neglecting his own health for the sake of the game.

KJewls responds to on-stream nap - “my chair comfy as hell”

In a pretty self-aware response, KJewls took to Twitter the following day to address falling asleep live on stream - to praise his chair for allowing him to fall asleep in the first place.

Yo but on the real though my chair comfy as hell,” he says in a short tweet. Well, it must be.

The streamer is back in the game now, hopefully after a proper rest. It seems he’s going to need it if he wants to hang onto that top spot.
