The comic book chaos of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 is giving us plenty to spend our V-Bucks on, and if you didn't spend all your money thirsting over Black Cat, there's a new skin that's destined to become a new fan-favourite. All of a sudden, we're getting a little bit peckish.
Chapter 5 Season 4 has given us some weird and wonderful mashup skins, with Peelverine and Meowtooth already arriving in-game alongside the Captain America-ised Captain Jones. Now, Epic Games is heading to the kitchen and firing up the griddle for another culinary corker.
Fortnite fans love Ghost Ri-Durrr
Fortnite has a weird obsession with food-based skins, giving us the likes of Lil Whip, Mancake, and The Brat. A look at Fortnite GG's most-used food skins puts Beef Boss at the top, but trust us, he's about to be usurped by another. Sticking with the Marvel theme, Ghost Ri-Durr is now available in the Fortnite shop.
Reminding us of when Burger King released its Dark Knight Whopper, Beef Boss has been dyed black and transformed into Ghost Rider. If you're hungry, Ghost Ri-Durrr is coming in the following forms:
- Ghost Ri-Durrr – 1,500 V-Bucks
- Mephisto’s Spatula Pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
- Flame Broiled Wrap - 500 V-Bucks
- Ri-Durrr Loading Screen
- Bundle – 2,200 V-Bucks
Fortnite fans are loving Ghost Ri-Durrr, with one fan cheering, "This skin is fire (literally)." Another added, "Ghost Rider x Burher, what a combo," and a third said, "Time to level up my game with this awesome new skin!" Others were less impressed, with all the usual grumbles of 'dead game' and some branding the Marvel season as 'trash'.
Expect to see a lot more of Ghost Ri-Durrr, with Marvel Comics using him on a variant cover for November's Spirits of Vengeance #3. Comic book artist Afu Chan has drawn the Ghost Ri-Durrr variant alongside X-Men #7 featuring Meowtooth, while Iban Coello has drawn a Peelverine variant of Wolverine #3 and Captain Jones for Avengers #20.
Trusted leaker HYPEX has teased there's more to come, and despite Spider-Man having appeared in the game numerous times, a new crossover between Web-Head and Venom is apparently on the way. As Chapter 5 Season 4 continues, we're hoping there are more Marvel mash-ups on the way. What's next, could we be getting a Mr. Dappermint version of The Fantastic Four's Mister Fantastic?
