Cue that heavy breathing because it looks like Lord Vader will soon be swishing his red lightsaber onto the Fortnite map sooner rather than later. With the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass just around the corner, players are dying to know what skins and back blings they'll be adding to their collection.
Off the back of the hastily rebranded Fortnite war season for Chapter 3 Season 2, we're in the dark about what's coming next. In the past, we've had the likes of the underwater Chapter 2 Season 3, prehistoric hunting of Chapter 2 Season 6's Primal, and alien chaos of Chapter 2 Season 8. Now, it sounds like we're going back to some sci-fi favourites with the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass.
What's In the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass?
As shared by noted insider ShiinaBR, the full Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass looks legit. Admittedly it came from the notoriously questionable 4chan, but if this isn't the real deal, it's one of the best fakes we've seen. Shiina also says that the chances of it being a fraud are extremely low.
Front and centre is Darth Vader, who we guess will be on the final page of the Battle Pass much like how Doctor Stephen Strange is there right now for Chapter 3 Season 2. If this is the case, expect the charred Anakin Skywalker (that's who is under the suit) to be a big part of the season's reveal trailer. We also see Indiana Jones is "coming soon," which suggests he's the Chapter 3 Season 3 alternate to this season's Prowler skin. Indiana Jones might seem like an odd inclusion considering the long-awaited Indiana Jones 5 is nowhere near release, but then again, Lara Croft was a secret skin back in Primal for no real reason. Similar to how we unlocked Prowler, there will presumably be a crop of archaeological-themed challenges to grab Indy.
When Will The Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass Release?
Elsewhere, the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass asks us to assemble Snap - seemingly like the customisable Maya skin from the current season. The Fortnite Crew is back in action, and by the looks of it, it'll be a variant of the Mecha Team Leader skin. Dataminers claim Chapter 3 Season 3 will be going live on June 5, so you've still got a while to climb the current Battle Pass.
There are sure to be the usual complaints that we're getting too much Star Wars. After celebrating May 4 with the return of lightsabers, we've also seen the Obi-Wan Cup and the famed Jedi coming to the shop to celebrate his Disney+ series. Added to that, Donald Mustard sharing a snap of a LEGO AT-AT suggests even more Star Wars stuff is on the way. Still, with Obi-Wan and Anakin ready for a rematch on the small screen, why shouldn't they get to do it in Fortnite too?
