A new season may have kicked off weeks ago, but fans have been waiting a while for the king of football management games to sign on for a new campaign.
SEGA has confirmed that Football Manager 25, which will mark the series debut on the Unity engine, will launch on November 26.

The game arrives in four different forms, all on the same day. Football Manager 25 will hit PC and Mac, the console version will come to PS5 and Xbox (and Xbox Game Pass), and the Switch will get FM25 Touch.
Football Manager 25 Mobile will be available exclusively through Netflix Games on iOS and Android.
As per a press release, the game's UI has been drastically overhauled with the move to Unity, with "Enhanced graphical fidelity and new volumetric player animations taken from real football matches brings players closer to the action on Matchdays" and the long-awaited arrival of Women's Football.
"It’s a great honour today to be confirming the forthcoming release of Football Manager 25," Sports Interactive Studio Director Miles Jacobson said.
"As I’ve mentioned in interviews and development updates, the FM25 cycle has been challenging for the entire SI team.
“FM25 is just the starting point for the studio’s next 20, 30 years. It’s also the point where the world gets to see two of our multi-year projects come to fruition: the switch to the Unity engine and the introduction of Women’s Football. It gives us a real sense of achievement to begin sharing our hard work with you and we're really looking forward to showing you more of the game in the weeks before the game’s release."
Fans can expect regular reveals over the next few weeks as showcased by a new roadmap, starting with a first look at women's football next week.
We awarded last year's game, Football Manager 2024, 4.5 stars in our review. We said:
"Football Manager 2024 is a return to being one of the very best football games and sims you can find. The set pieces add another dimension to gameplay, and the inconsistencies from last year's games have all been ironed out to make a complete entry to the series."
