The Finnish esports organisation ENCE has re-entered Overwatch esports, signing one of Europeans top teams in BuboSprayCheck.

Finnish esports organisation ENCE has announced its entrance into professional Overwatch, signing the OWCS team formerly known as BuboSprayCheck around a Suomi core. The team also includes former OWL star DPS players Kevin "kevster" Persson and Kai "Kai" Collins.
Ence returns to Overwatch Esports
Led by Overwatch League season 6 Coach of the Year Jordan "Gunba" Graham, ENCE’s team has proven to be one of the top contenders for the European OWCS title, so far only losing once in a best-for-three series to the currently unbeaten Twisted Minds.
The roster is built on Overwatch League veterancy with only the 17-year-old Support player Aaro "ghost91" Ventola never having played in the former franchise league. The Canadian William "Crimzo" Hernandez has been described as being in a player-coach position, having played various matches during the Swiss and Group Stage so far.

Who is ENCE?
Originally founded in 2013 with a focus on Counter-Strike, ENCE has recently been spreading out into other esports, most recently signing a Rainbow Six Siege roster in early March 2024. Previously, it had also been the home to Joona "Serral" Sotala, one of the best Western Starcraft II players in the esports’ history.
While the organisation has its roots in Finland, often fielding some of the country's best esports talent, it is also known for its strong scouting in the European esports scene, moving on both newcomers and cost-effective talent to assemble championship-winning rosters against opposition with deeper pockets. Even through various roster changes in its Counter-Strike team over the years, often brought about by other organisations buying out talent that had grown to be top-tier competitors during their time in ENCE, the organisation has fielded competitive rosters, most recently qualifying for the PGL Copenhagen Major.
ENCE’s Overwatch team is set to play Team Peps in the Main Event stage of OWCS later today at 5 pm CET / 4 pm BST / 11 am EST, with the potential to meet its European rival Spacestation Gaming in the Upper Bracket Semifinals tomorrow.
