There are few things more special in Destiny 2 than a weapon dropping with just the right perks you need to fit your playstyle, or that feel a little broken in the best way.
I got myself a lovely PvE Indebted Kindness sidearm from Warlord's Ruin just last night, but there are definitely some perks that are better than others.
One of the ones not likely to be high on your list of "must-haves" is Invisible Hand, and Destiny players have been discussing the bizarre perk on the subreddit.
Destiny 2 players bemoan Invisible Hand perk
For those wondering, Invisible Hand is a perk that gives you increased stability for a single second if you miss your shots. This means it offers a pretty disappointing reward for... missing your shots.
Taking to Reddit to express their frustrations, user "spikehiyashi6" asked, "How did invisible hand even make it into the game?".
"Is this an April Fool's perk? Miss MULTIPLE shots in order to get +25 stability for ONE SECOND??? How is this even remotely useful? what situation would you ever use that? Please someone help me understand."
Naturally, the comments are flooded with tongue-in-cheek answers, suggesting Bungie puts bad perks in to make the better ones more of a chase. Indeed, I can't imagine how annoyed you'd be if you got yourself a great weapon, only to find one of the perk slots taken up by Invisible Hand.
Destiny 2's worst perks
A big part of the draw of Destiny 2 is earning guns with perks that work well together, but with randomised rolls it doesn't always pan out that way.
Players have long complained about perks that increase airborne effectiveness, while many are very situational, meaning they're only useful in certain scenarios or content types.
Take Sympathetic Arsenal, for example, which refills stowed weapons from reserves when you reload within 3.6 seconds of a weapon kill.
