Remember when you used to be able to grind for a week to get 'Raid ready' after a Destiny expansion? It appears those days are behind us as Bungie revealed when we'll be tackling The Final Shape's final confrontation against The Witness.

As per Bungie's blog post, The Final Shape's new raid, which remains unnamed at this point in time, will arrive on June 7 at 10AM PT/6PM BST. Considering the expansion launches just three days earlier on June 4, that's not a lot of time, even for hardened veterans.

Prepare to grind for The Final Shape's Raid

Destiny 2 Prismatic Guardians

Depending on the Power Level requirement, that could be quite the time commitment over those three days - especially if you and your clan want to duke it out to be the World's First.

Thankfully, things are a little different this time around as Bungie has made a change to the way Power Levels work as of The Final Shape.

Whereas before, if the requirement was 1830 (as an example), you'd want everyone to be around the same level to have a chance of battling through. With the new changes, the most powerful player in a group will raise the levels of those around them - albeit not all the way.

You'll still need to grind, but there's at least a little bit of leeway. Bungie has also said that finishing The Final Shape's campaign on Legendary difficulty will prepare players for the raid.

With the addition of the new Prismatic subclass, which will pull from other damage types, and new Exotic class items, it could be a really fun race to conquer the Raid as the best Destiny players attempt to break the game in different ways.
