With the professional Call of Duty circuit having ended in July, the upper echelon of players is now heading off to old games in the hope of a more competitive environment than Modern Warfare 2.

Much akin to how thousands of players are enjoying the reactivation of classic games, the pros have been landing back on the likes of Black Ops 3, enjoying the old-school feel of the series.

Now, after playing CoD's with a much-less-severe aim assist system and much better maps, OpTic Texas star Brandon "Dashy" Otell has slammed "casuals" for "ruining Call of Duty".

Dashy blames 'casual' players for ruining CoD

As one of the straightest shooters to ever grace Call of Duty and arguably one of the rawest talents, Dashy has often voiced his displeasure at how ramped-up aim assist is in the current games (from Modern Warfare 2019 onwards).

But after enjoying everything that Black Ops 3 has to offer, Dashy has now launched a siege on the "casual" community for being "responsible for this f**king dogs**t, gunsmith, dynamic CoDs".

"You guys ruined CoD. You ruined it for all of us. I hope you like this sound EQ, no Deady [Ninja], 17 attachments on my gun, closing doors back and to, and Tac Sprinting the entire game. I hope you like this because we could still have this [Black Ops 3] with different maps," he said on-stream.

Dashy slams the moaning Twitter audience for damaging Call of Duty

"You all f**ked us because you couldn't shoot straight and you felt self-conscious so you had to go on Twitter and roast wall runs instead. You were just s**t," he added.

Despite his eccentric language, many fans have also echoed this sentiment, saying that the modern-day mechanics are completely tailored towards those players, and not the community who loads into the game every single day.

Others pointed out that the "casuals" are the reason that Activision has so much money to pour into the games and the CDL franchised league, as they are the audience to purchase bundles and Battle Passes.

Whether Dashy has a point or not, it will be interesting to see how Sledgehammer Games manages Modern Warfare 3, after already revealing slide cancelling is back.
