Call of Duty has a habit of dropping an abundance of expensive bundles that can take a serious dent out of your wallet.

Collaborations with Fallout and The Walking Dead are just a few that have cost fans considerable sums of cash, while rumours of upcoming crossovers with WWE and Deadpool & Wolverine are only making players more cautious with their current wads of CoDPoints.

So, what if I told you there was a way of getting hundreds of free items from Modern Warfare 3 if you care to find them?

You can claim every MW3 and MW2 Gift Pack that you've missed

Often, Call of Duty dishes out "free rewards" in the Store, but they sometimes go under the radar as players load up to try out their new-look Operators in Ranked lobbies.

If you've missed these free Gift Packs though, there is actually a way you can crawl back through the archives and unlock them.

Taking to Reddit, one player has showcased a way of going back through the stickers and emblems to claim a range of free Gifts, despite them not being available in the store anymore.

"Awesome, I missed out on the hundreds camo, just unlocked it now," said one thankful player.

This also works for those given out during Modern Warfare 2, given that the same items have been carried over.

Unfortunately, you do have to grin and bear through the frustrating UI.

"Thanks for this. But seriously who designed this UI, the scrolling in this and the calling card and emblems is just so bad," joked another fan.

The items might not be the masterful Operator outfits from the stellar collabs, but there's an abundance of customisation quirks to choose from, and they cost absolutely nothing (except your sanity).
