Now the Harbingers Collection Event is well underway, and Fuse finally has his Heirloom in Apex Legends, all focus has shifted towards Season 19.
Details are thin on the ground at the moment, so the community is relying on dataminers to uncover any information they can.
There have already been clues pointing towards the arrival of cross-progression next season, and now, another discovery has raised eyebrows.
By the looks of it, a Storm Point makeover could be on the cards for Season 19. If true, it'll be fit with brand-new POIs to explore.
Storm Point changes may be coming in Apex Legends Season 19
Besides new Legends and weapons, map updates are some of the most exciting content Respawn has to offer in a seasonal update.
According to reliable leaker KralRindo, new zones in the game files indicate Storm Point may be receiving a makeover.
With names like Amp Station, Pylon, Echo, MCCORD, and Medina, everything points towards a fresh set of POIs arriving in Season 19.
Unfortunately, there are no details or assets available to view at the moment, but just knowing Storm Point changes are coming is exciting on its own. A Storm Point refresh would make sense, given how it's been taken out of the Season 18 pool and would give the devs plenty of time to work their magic.
How many new POIs are coming with Storm Point changes?
In total, six new zones have been added to the game files, so it's safe to say we're looking at a set of pretty hefty changes.
All clues were pointing towards a Storm Point overhaul coming with Season 18 due to weather warnings across the map, but that turned out to be a false alarm content-wise.
Now, the proof has come in the files, and while they rarely get it wrong, this should all still be taken with a pinch of salt until it's official.
Storm Point changes and cross-progression for Season 19 would be a dream for a lot of players, let's see if the Respawn can deliver.
