An eagle-eyed Cyberpunk player has found a well-hidden The Witcher 3 Easter egg which CD Project Red buried in the Phantom Liberty DLC.

There are several references to Cyberpunk's sister game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, tucked away inside the game, including hidden magazines and an arcade game.

Reddit user MayorMayNotBeSitting shared their discovery on the Cyberpunk subreddit after calling a number on a post-it note in the game.

The post read: "Tried one of the numbers on the wall." and includes a video of MayorMayNotBeSitting dialling the number and listening to The Witcher 3's main theme.

For players who want to find the Easter egg for themselves, all you need to do is head back to the phone at Capitan Caliente, which is unlocked as part of Phantom Liberty's Lucretia My Reflection mission, and dial one of the numbers on the post-it notes stuck to the wall: 5745552377.

MayorMayNotBeSitting confirmed that they had tried calling the number in real life however nothing happened, and that the majority of the phone numbers written on the wall didn't do anything at all, though there are a few other Easter eggs there.

There are several Witcher 3 Easter eggs in Cyberpunk

Within Cyberpunk 2077, there are several references to The Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red's highly successful action RPG from 2015.

An arcade game, called Roach Race, was added in Patch 1.6. The minigame has players take control of Geralt's horse Roach and help him to evade various obstacles, such as fences and wells.

Similarly, a Retro Gaming magazine which names The Witcher 3 as the game of the month can be found in a drawer.

There are a lot of people who think that The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 are set in the same universe, with some hidden references across both games alluding to this. While nothing is certain it would definitely be interesting to see more crossovers between the two games pop-up in the future.
