A new resurgence map is imminent, and fans have noted that it looks like a Rebirth Island clone is coming to Call of Duty: Warzone 2.

Since the removal of Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep, the Warzone resurgence community has been left completely game-less.
We've had to adapt to either Modern Warfare 2 Ground War, DMZ, or Warzone 2's huge Al Mazrah map. There is good news in the pipeline, as it's expected that a brand-new resurgence map is on its way at some point in the new year,
We might've been gifted a first look at the upcoming small-scale combat map, as a Resurgence map has been leaked, which Activision's copyright team has all but confirmed it is real.
Leaks Show Rebirth Island-esque Map Is Incoming
Having first emerged in a Facebook Group, a brand-new Warzone Resurgence map has been doing the rounds, which supports 50 players and DMZ gameplay.
The map contains Shipwreck, Power Plant, and Castle POIs, and shares much likability with Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep. The addition of "Castle" is further interesting, considering other leaks point towards the remastering of the WaW map of its namesake.
Interestingly, Activision has sent out a barrage of DMCA strikes against those sharing the image on Twitter, which pretty much confirms that the leak is credible.
Treyarch Confirm Another Warzone 2 Map
Not only is a resurgence map in the works, but a 2024 map is already in development too, to launch alongside Treyarch's annual instalment.
Treyarch's newest job vacancy outlines that they are hiring a Warzone map designer, who will be in charge of creating the 2024 landscape, and Outbreak maps.
There might also be a third map in development too, to coincide with Modern Warfare 2's second year in the cycle. If this is the case, we'll be spoilt for choice in the coming months.
